A must have for Canadian winters

This coat is very much oversized but is cleverly designed with velcro at the wrists and a bungee cord on the inside waist so your toddler doesn't swim in it. It's very long to cover their bums and keep them very warm. The removable hood and removable fur trim are excellent features as well. We've gotten several compliments from daycare about how nice it is and how warm it keeps our kid. Can see it lasting us at least 2 more years. Would recommend to anyone.

Some suggestions

I wanted a warm parka rated for -30 and colder weather as I live in the Arctic. It’s nice and roomy for layering, and I like being able to cinch the waist. However, I would also prefer the following: 1. Cuffed ribbing at the sleeve cuff, in addition to the current Velcro strap. It's better at keeping longer sleeves in place. 2. A zippered hood. Toddlers tend to run away, and the snapped-on hood detaches easily, preventing the option of grabbing the hood to whisk the toddler to safety. I heard a story where a toddler was saved from falling through an ice crack when his parent grabbed his hood fast enough. But this would be just as useful on city streets. 3. A wind skirt. 4. Maybe a system where your mitts can be buttoned or attached to the sleeve? Toddlers tend to pull off and lose mittens, even in -40C weather. 5. An orange or brown color parka would be a nice option too. We look forward to testing out your parka.

Warm winter jacket

Lovely soft and warm jacket. It is also a longer model, so it works well even without insulated pants (if the transition is shorter, for example). It is a big size, but due to the adjustments, it can fit even smaller sizes. We took size 86 for a child who is 83cm tall and it is big. It easily fits a larger child who is size 98.

The style is great but be noticed that it is not yellow-orange color that the photos showed. My son was disappointed.
